Cindy May and I have been chatting lately with regards to the RRAP internal website that got “unpublished” due to the dis-establishment of the previous “Centre for the Environment” website. After chatting to Jonathan Rhodes and Jule Mitchell (Centre for Environment Society) and our Digital software engineering team, we came to a resolution to spin up a new site specifically for RRAR with contents copied over so I can continue updating the website for promote QUT’s reef research capability. Once the centre website is fully established by Julie, we can then link it to the new centre website.

Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future

Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future (SAEF) is an Australian Research Council Special Research Initiative that aims to strengthen Antarctic science, policy and governance. QUT is partnering with 30 research and government partners, both national and international, to deliver the program which is led by Monash University.

Indigenous Australian Research Training Scheme

The Indigenous Australian Research Training Scheme (IARTS) provides structured, paid research experiences for Indigenous Australian students, including research and summer research experiences, honours scholarships, and postgraduate scholarships.

Higher Degree Research pathways

We actively support Indigenous Australian HDR students, including participation in PhD to postdoctoral (P2P) initiatives and enhanced scaffolding into research degrees. These pathways are designed to support progression, cohort connection, and long‑term research careers.
