Student showcase
The QUT Graduate Research Student showcase is an annual event highlighting QUT’s graduate research talent through the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) and Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) competitions.
Our students come prepared
QUT research students have access to sector-leading training throughout their degree, which equips them with real-world skills throughout their research journey. To help graduate researchers prepare for real-world engagement and impact, we offer:
- transferable skills development delivered by Graduate Research Education and Development
- professional skills development through e-Grad School Australia
- industry training sessions
- briefing and a preparation module
- career education and support
- support throughout the program
Students are briefed on:
- the purpose and aims of the engagement
- roles, tasks and expectations for meeting learning outcomes
- workplace rights and responsibilities.
It's important that you, as an industry partner, also provide an induction to the workplace, including supporting students to work in a healthy and safe work environment.
