World Science Festival 2026

The highly anticipated World Science Festival is returning to Brisbane from 21 - 30 March with a diverse program of events to cater to all interests and age groups including a free event at Gardens Point campus titled Challenge Accepted: Science Shaping the Next Generation.

Hear from leading voices from science, education and industry as they explore the future of science, the skills Australia will need, and how education can prepare the next generation to meet these challenges head-on.

QUT Bold - New eras in online safety building healthy societies for future generations

Join QUT’s Distinguished Professor Ben Mathews, Chanel Contos, Founder and Executive Director of Teach us Consent and Julie Inman Grant, Australia’s eSafety Commissioner to discuss landmark developments and the next dimensions in optimal public policy and how Australia is leading the way in research, innovation and regulation. Jemima Wyman and Katherine Dionysius in conversation

Join artist Jemima Wyman in conversation with curator Katherine Dionysius from the QUT Art Museum, as they delve into the Deep Surface exhibition and monograph. This discussion explores Wyman’s politically charged investigations into camouflage, collective organising, democracy, and dissent, tracing the evolution of her practice from the mid-1990s to today.

QUT Business Leaders Forum (BLF)

Hear from influential leaders as they share their personal journeys and unpack the trends transforming our economy and society. The QUT Business Leaders' Forum is Brisbane’s leading event for dynamic conversations on business and leadership. The forum dives into key themes such as leadership, business innovation, corporate responsibility and public policy.


QUT Classic

Complete 1km, 5km or 10km at the all-inclusive, family-friendly community running event, held annually in support of the QUT Learning Potential Fund. Sign up before the 17 March to receive a FREE official race t-shirt.
