QUT lecturers honoured as among Australia’s best: QUT lecturers Professor Fiona Naumann, Associate Professor Nicolas Suzor and Dr Deanna Grant-Smith have been recognised for their excellence in delivering student learning in Australia’s highest awards for university teaching.

Is VR the future of amusement?: Instead of going to an amusement park to enjoy a rollercoaster or thrill ride, adrenaline junkies could soon pop on a virtual reality headset and board their own high-tech motion simulators to get a similar rush from their lounge rooms, according to QUT researcher Malcolm Burt.

Making light work of materials synthesis: funding for QUT project: A QUT team led by Professor Christopher Barner-Kowollik exploring how light can be used in manufacturing has been awarded an Australian Research Council Linkage grant to support its partnership with German firm Cynora.

Student athletes show elite skill & social media 'sav': QUT brought its biggest and best teams to the Australian University Games at the Gold Coast this year, blitzing both men's and women's volleyball competitions and also winning gold in the men's water polo and lawn bowling.
