Costs for Study Abroad

Tuition fees

We charge per unit for Study Abroad. You must study at least 3 units per semester. If you want to study 5 units per semester, you must have permission from your home university and QUT, as this is an above-standard study load.

Tuition fees cover tuition, administration, student support services and a copy of your academic record.

English Study Abroad fees

QUT offers pathway programs through our English college should you not meet our entry requirements for study abroad or exchange.

If you study at one of our Exchange Partner Institutions you do not have to pay tuition fees to QUT, these are paid to your home University.  However, English fees for programs taken through our QUT English College are not covered under the exchange agreement.  Please contact us if you have any questions about fees for Exchange students:

To find out which program is suitable for you, see the English for Study Abroad options according to your current English level.
