What is the purpose of this research?

The purpose of this research is to investigate online retail sales events such as Click Frenzy, to understand how consumers interact with these events and why.

Are you looking for people like me?

The research team is inviting anyone who has previously shopped in an online retail sales event to participate. There is no restriction on age, gender, education or employment levels.

What will you ask me to do?

Your participation will involve an audio and video recorded interview online through Zoom that will take approximately 30 minutes of your time.

Are there any risks for me in taking part?

The research team does not believe there are any risks beyond normal day-to-day living associated with your participation in this research.

Are there any benefits for me in taking part?

It is expected that this research project will not benefit you directly. However, it may benefit researchers and marketing industry professionals. Sharon Marie Young is also expected to benefit from this research as it will be used to complete a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) degree.

Will I be compensated for my time?

No, but we would very much appreciate your participation in this research, as your opinion is important.
