QUT's Diploma in Information Technology is a pathway program designed to help you successfully progress to the Bachelor of Information Technology. It provides a hands-on approach that allows you to explore areas in information technology and gain an understanding in both computer science and information systems. The Diploma also focuses on developing your academic skills for future success. A highly supportive learning environment with smaller class sizes ensures a more personalised learning journey and a seamless transition to university studies.

The Diploma in Information Technology (IT) is equivalent to the first year QUT’s Bachelor of Information Technology (IN01) and Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments (IN05). On completion of the Diploma with the required results, you are guaranteed a place in the second year of your chosen degree program.
