CIQ Honoured to Have Sheldon College As A Network School and to Present Student Incentive Awards
CIQ made a visit to Sheldon College, the newest CIQ Network School, to present students with their CIQ Student Incentive Awards.
CIQ Deputy Director, Dr Philip Sun and Business and Education Coordinator, Ms Lisha Song, represented CIQ at a full College assembly of staff and students and presented CIQ Incentive Awards to the six awardees who had distinguished themselves with their Term Two Chinese language studies.
Dr Sun said ‘CIQ is very pleased to partner with the prestigious Sheldon College and support the teaching of Chinese language and culture at the College. They are a high achieving teaching institution evidenced by claiming the Top Language School in Queensland at the Annual Education Perfect Language Championships the third time in a row.
Sheldon College Chinese teacher, Clara Liu, commented that ‘Our College is impressed by how CIQ is innovative with its support of schools in Queensland. These Incentive Awards clearly demonstrate this and our students responded well to this initiative.’
