Entry with performance qualifications
If you have performance qualifications such as AMEB or equivalent, the skills and experience you’ve gained can give you a selection rank for entry to QUT courses, including performance and creative industries courses (other than Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting)).
Your performing arts qualification can be translated into a selection rank (from 84.00-87.00, depending on your qualification).
Selection ranks for completed AMEB and equivalent study
There are also other pathways to study at QUT including secondary education, vocational education and training (VET) or TAFE study, higher education study and work experience.
Creative arts scholarships
Creative and performing courses have a range of scholarships available. QUT offer scholarships valued from $10,000 to $30,000 to students who are ranked highly and who are starting a Bachelor of Creative Arts single or double degree.
To be considered you must perform highly in the acting audition or demonstrate both academic and creative industries excellence during your school studies for other courses. These scholarships are automatically awarded.
