Programs
Learn to Swim program for adults
Gain more confidence in the water with our Learn to Swim program for adults, suited to anyone looking to gain confidence and experience in the water.
Program pricing starts from $20 a session. Book in now for our beginners' class and develop your skills with the support of our qualified instructors.
Learn to Lift program
Want to learn more about the equipment in the gym and best lifting techniques? Our Learn to Lift program will take you through a range of different exercises, all while being supported by one of our staff members to teach you best practice.
Run over four weeks, this course has sessions at both our Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses. Next program starts 14 November 2023.
Virtual cycling
Embark on a virtual cycling journey in our virtual sport studio at Gardens Point campus, Y Block, adjacent to Lady Harriet’s Bar and Kitchen. Equipped with 10 Wahoo-KickR bikes, the studio caters to all levels of cyclists from first time riders to elite athletes.
Our virtual cycling sessions are included in select memberships, and QUT students and staff can also enjoy limited complimentary sessions.
CYCLEFIT: 7am Mondays and Wednesdays
Social Spin Squad: 11.30am Mondays and Fridays
Drop in Individual Rides: 12.30pm and 3pm Tuesdays, and 12.30pm Thursdays
Personal trainers
Seeking a trainer with the expertise to craft workouts that align with your fitness journey? Need assistance with rehabilitation, or simply a motivating presence to celebrate your milestones? Our personal trainers provide invaluable guidance making it easier to achieve your fitness goals efficiently.
Purchase personal training packs before registering for individual training sessions through the QUT Sport portal.
Work Integrated Learning and research access
Having the QUT Sport Fitness and Aquatic Centres on campus enables students to engage with the facilities for their learning. This includes Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities and access for research purposes. If you would like to learn more about either of these, email us fitness@qut.edu.au
