Play football at QUT
Football is a popular program which brings together a diverse mix of students of all abilities who attend regular fixtures and sessions at our FIFA Accredited stadium at Kelvin Grove campus.
Social football
Mixed social football runs all year round on Wednesday night at the Sports Field in Kelvin Grove. Small-sided games are played, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, where teams are made up on the night to encourage students from a range of backgrounds to play football.
Women’s football
Launched in 2021, in partnership with Football Queensland, the Girls United program is specifically designed to encourage women and girls of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels, to learn to play or improve their football skills.
A combination of small sides games and fun football activities are played Tuesday night at the sports field in Kelvin Grove.
Social sport
QUT Social Sport is run during each semester where students, staff, alumni, and the wider community can play a range of social sports, including football.
6-a-side and 5-a-side options are available for both mixed and men’s football.
Represent QUT
There are various opportunities through the year to represent QUT at local and national intervarsity football events. Football, 6 a side and futsal teams will be wearing the QUT colours in 2022.
