Make sure your creative industries preferences are in order.
Students need to order their QTAC preferences by main offer round date, from earliest to latest date so they don’t miss out on being considered for courses. The main offer round for some QUT creative industries courses with portfolio/audition entry requirements has changed to 23 December 2019.
These courses include:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting)
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance)
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance)
Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music) - Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts)
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts).
Most offers for these courses will be made in the 15 November QTAC offer round (excluding the Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts), with offers finalised in the 23 December offer round.
Students who don’t receive an offer on 15 November may receive an offer on 23 December. Students can check their QTAC application to see if they have passed the audition/portfolio requirement and are still being considered for 23 December.
Some courses with creative industries additional entry requirements will have a main offer round of 15 January 2020. These are:
- Bachelor of Design (Fashion)
- Bachelor of Design (Fashion) - International
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Design (Fashion)
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary)/Bachelor of Fine Arts - music, visual arts and dance majors.
