Dr Olivia Hollingdrake from the QUT School of Nursing recently joined Liz and Jesse, nurses and health professionals at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital who produce the 5 Things nursing podcast with a purpose to inspire, educate and connect local and global healthcare communities as they collectively move from surviving to thriving in their personal and professional lives.

While working as a nurse with people living with blood borne diseases, Dr Hollingdrake stumbled into an interest in patient experience of stigmatised conditions. This led her down a path of research that informed her PhD work.
