Distinguished Professor Patsy Yates
Distinguished Professor Patsy Yates is a co-director for QUT's Centre for Healthcare Transformation. Patsy is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience as a leader in education and research in the health sector. Prior to her appointment as Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health in 2020, Patsy was Professor and Head of the School of Nursing at QUT. Patsy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and the Australian College of Nursing, and is the current President of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care and a past-President of Palliative Care Australia.
Professor Steven McPhail
Steve is an internationally renowned health service innovator, health economist, and researcher and leads the health management discipline at QUT. He is also the Flagship Research & Education Director for the (Australian) Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre and co-Director for the Centre of Healthcare Transformation. He is currently the Professor of Health Services Research at QUT and also leads the Trauma among Vulnerable People Stream of the Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners NHMRC Advanced Health Research Translation Centre.
