Dr Ut Bui

Biography
Dr Ut Bui is a registered nurse, researcher and lecturer with the QUT School of Nursing, Faculty of Health. Her research, teaching, learning and service work have been very much focusing on finding and translating the best innovative research evidence into nursing education and nursing practice. Ut's research interests focus on the assessment, management and prevent of wounds (both acute and chronic wounds). Ut is also a strong advocate for healthy work environment for all nurses across sectors. With excellent interpersonal, organisational and team management skills, she works exceptionally well with health providers and industrial partners. She appreciates challenges in translating research evidence into practices but determines to pursue her passion for education and health equity.
As a highly skilled nurse educator, she has taught evidence-based practice, research and health promotions across the life span in higher education in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Frameworks as well as with the Nursing and Midwifery Broad of Australia’s Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion with her nursing students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
