Biography
Dr Jessica Ingleman is a registered nurse and a lecturer with the School of Nursing, QUT. Jessica is currently the Postgraduate Coordinator- Intensive Care and an academic representative for the School of Nursing Learning and Teaching Subcommittee.As an early career researcher, Jessica's program of research is focused on advancing patient skin safety during critical illness through clinical based research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Jessica received the Best Nursing Scholarship Paper at the 2023 ANZICS ACCCN ASM for her doctoral work and she is an associate investigator on an NHMRC Partnership Project: Eliminating harm from devices across the life span in critical illness: The DEFENCE study (2023-2026) which is aligned with her research program.

Teaching
Jessica is experienced in unit coordination and teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. As a level 1 HDR supervisor, Jessica has a growing track record of successfully co-supervising students for the Master of Philosophy, Nursing Dissertation projects and the QUT School of Nursing and Metro North Hospital and Health Service Nursing and Midwifery Academy internship. Jessica is dedicated to supporting students in developing the necessary knowledge and skills to become effective nurse leaders who are committed to optimising patient outcomes.
