Olympic gold-medallist and British Olympic Committee Chair Lord Sebastian Coe KBE will address the next QUT Business Leaders' Forum on Monday 9 February at the Hilton Brisbane.

Lord Coe is a two-time Olympic gold medal-winning track and field athlete, business leader and British politician.

As a middle distance runner, Lord Coe won two gold and two silver Olympic medals at the 1980 Moscow and 1984 Los Angeles Games.

He headed the successful London bid to host the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games and was Chairman of the London Organising Committee for the Games.

Lord Coe is also Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations and is Executive Chairman of CSM Sport & Entertainment, a global sports marketing business.

He was a Conservative member of the UK Parliament from 1992 - 1997 and became a Life Peer in 2000.

He received a Companion of Honour in the 2013 New Year's Honours List.

Lord Coe will speak about his remarkable journey from Olympic glory to successful business leader.

Based on his personal experiences in business and in dealing with major world leaders in politics and business, he will outline his views on the leadership that works in all fields.

Tickets for the forum, which will be moderated by journalist Emma Alberici from ABC's Lateline, are on sale.
