Greg Creed, Chief Executive Officer, Yum! Brands will address the final QUT Business Leaders' Forum for the year on September 6.
As Chief Executive Officer of Yum! Brands, Greg Creed is responsible for one of the largest restaurant networks in the world, serving more than 40 million customers each week across more than 45,000 restaurants in 135 countries. Based in Louisville Kentucky, his organisation encompasses Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut and is on track to reach its goal of US$16 billion in sales by 2022.
Greg will describe his remarkable personal journey from a Brisbane school student to CEO of a Fortune 500 corporation with more than 1.5 million employees around the globe. He has more than 30 years’ experience in marketing and operations with leading packaged goods and restaurant brands in Australia and the USA. Greg will share how his powerful yet simple philosophies of being courageous and seizing opportunities underpin his success. He will outline how he is accelerating growth in an intensely competitive environment by acting differently, thinking differently and leading differently, capitalising on the opportunity to completely rethink the company’s business model.
A graduate of the QUT Business School, Greg has won a number of major international marketing awards and in 2014 was named QUT Alumnus of the Year.
