'Dream Big: Engineering our World' is a film that explores the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels -- big and small -- and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people around the world.
The film appeals to both young and old, celebrating the work done by engineers past and present, whilst inspiring the engineers of the future.
We invite parents and guardians to bring their children!
The event will include our an introductory address followed by the movie screening and Q&A discussion with some of Queensland’s prominent engineers. Popcorn and workshops included in ticket price.
During this family friendly event we will be hosting a series of experiential activites for students:
• Years 3-4: Earthquake encounter
• Years 5-6: Little Bots
• Years 7-8: Code-a-bot
This event is proudly supported by Engineers Australia, Bechtel and QUT.
