Student support services

Financial and legal help

Request legal advice or financial support through budgeting, welfare officer services, and food banks.

If you are having problems, we have a free, confidential counselling service for all our international students.

Employment support

Our careers service can help you find work to support yourself while you're studying, and also prepare for a career after graduation.

Health services

QUT has many free or discounted health services on campus for our students, including doctors, podiatrists and optometrists.

We support students with a disability, injury or health condition.

LGBTIQ support

Our Ally network provides support, services, events, information and resources for our lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) student community.

Religious support

Our chaplaincy service is available to students from all religions, and can help you get in contact with religious groups in the community.

Higher degree research student support

QUT provides research students with special support services, including technology support, research training and the QUT Research Students Network.
