QUT staff and students will be celebrating Reconciliation at QUT with a series of events and activities from May to August. Get involved, learn something new and play your part.
Events begin just prior to National Reconciliation Week, which runs each year from 27 May to 3 June.
The theme for this year’s National Reconciliation Week is “Grounded in truth, walk together with courage”. The journey towards reconciliation requires both truth and courage. There will be learning and unlearning, challenging conversations, and some difficult truths to confront. But it’s a journey we can all walk together.

The Aboriginal story is often buried deep beneath the accepted 247-year Australian historical narrative. It’s not that the Australian story is wrong, it’s just that it’s a wee bit one-sided. Aboriginal filmmaker Trisha Morton-Thomas bites back at Australian history in this inspired satire.
