Biography
I am a behavioural ecologist and marine scientist, interested in the interdependence of social science and environmental conservation. Currently in my second postdoctoral role, I am expanding expertise into conservation governance and planning in Antarctica, bridging ecological science with policy and environmental stewardship. By exploring the resilience of socio-ecological systems and their current governance, my research aims to assist decision-makers to sustainably manage Antarctica’s Cultural Ecosystem Services.Expertise related to UN Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
