Mrs Kaye Petherick

Biography
Prior to joining QUT, Kaye Petherick worked in the private sector as a management consultant and project manager specialising in strategic planning, regional economic development, market assessments and feasibility studies in Australia, New Zealand, the US, Europe and Japan. In 2001 Kaye joined QUT’s project management team for the Kelvin Grove Urban Village project, a 16 hectare, AUD$1+ billion mixed use land development in inner city Brisbane. The project team managed QUT's involvement in Kelvin Grove Urban Village along with the development of three major QUT facilities, the Creative Industries Precinct, the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation and 44 Musk Avenue a mixed use development incorporating indoor gymnasium, sports courts and swimming pool and QUT's public health clinics . Kaye became the Faculty Manager of the Creative Industries Faculty in 2009 as and in her roles since then as Director, Business Development and Engagement and currently Director, External Relations, Kaye's portfolio has included partnerships and development, commercial consultancies, corporate education and international training and development projects and development of Creative Industries Precinct Stage Two.
