Biography
Dr Yu started his research in cardiovascular biomechanics in 2016. In 2022, Dr. Yu earned his doctorate in Biomedical Engineering and started to work in Queensland University of Technology.His doctoral research focused on using cutting-edge ventricular mechanical simulation methods to predict outcomes of pulmonary valve replacement and evaluate novel surgical treatments by performing virtual surgeries for Tetralogy of Fallot patients.
Currently he is working as a research associate in Queensland University of Technology. His current work includes evaluating dementia and stroke risks of patients with Atrial Fibrillation.
