Biography
I am a geophysicist in the field of seismic inversion, processing seismic data to image the subsurface geological structure to help explore natural resources such as minerals, oil and gas.Currently, I am working on passive seismic technique in terms of ambient noise tomography, FTAN and inversion methods to develop a 3D model up to the middle-lower crustal layers for critical mineral exploration in North Queensland, funded by Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ).
During my PhD study, my project was aimed to apply a geostatistical algorithm on Full Waveform Inversion (FWI). It utilizes geostatistical characterizations with respect to marginal distribution and spatial correlation to drive the inversion processing, also, combining both linear and non-linear constraints in a straightforward way.
