QUT Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Coaldrake welcomed OECD secretary-general Angel Gurria to the Gardens Point campus today.
Mr Gurria visited The Cube and "The Cube Globe" - a G20 spatial information display of Queensland trade and investment opportunities - during a tour of the Science and Engineering Centre.
The OECD is one of the international organisations which supports the G20 leaders with advice and identifies policy gaps where actions would have the most impact.
Mr Gurria is one of a number of G20 guests to tour The Cube.
Professor Coaldrake is the current Chair of the OECD Programme on Institutional Management in Higher Education (IMHE) Governing Board.
