Switching to a career in IT
Having no background in IT, I chose to pursue a Master of Information Technology at QUT because it is accessible to those from non-IT majors. I graduated from QUT, well-prepared to enter the job market as a software developer.

A social work career making a meaningful impact
It may be a cliché, but I have always envisioned a career dedicated to driving positive change. Since graduating, I’ve been working in domestic violence and have aspirations of ultimately working with the UNHCR to make a broader, global impact.

What really stood out to me was QUT's focus on preparing law students for real-world practice, not just academic exams, which made it even more appealing. The assignments are practical and closely tied to real-life scenarios, making it very engaging.
