I chose QUT because it was in Queensland where the biodiversity is unique and there are many different climates within the state. QUT also offered a combination of science and journalism which I found suited my interests to a tee.

My eyes always light up when looking at high-rise buildings and complex infrastructure. I often wondered how these structures could be built from paper. I am now fortunate enough to work in the industry and learn something new every day.

A double degree provides me with more opportunities and pathways that I can pursue in the future. I really enjoy studying two degrees as it provides me with more variety to what I study and the knowledge I gain.
