The Master of Engineering Technology can be completed in one year, allowing you to complete your studies six months earlier than a traditional masters course. You must have completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in one of the following fields or equivalent:

Entry requirements

You must have:

  • A recognised four-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree of engineering in chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, medical, or power and equivalents with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (on QUT’s 7 point scale) plus
  • Followed by at least three-years full-time (or equivalent) professional engineering work experience.

Assumed knowledge

Your prior degree and professional engineering work experience is in a relevant engineering discipline for your major that you choose when you enrol in units.
