Step 7: Submit your application
If your previous studies were not completed in Australia, you must apply directly to QUT.
If you're currently completing Year 12 in Australia, you must apply through QTAC. Contact your educational agent if you would like an agency to represent you.
Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework study
Complete the application for admission as an international student form (F Form) to apply for:
- an undergraduate course
- postgraduate coursework
- a Foundation or Diploma program.

English language programs
To apply for an English language program, visit the QUT International College website for an application form.
Applying directly to QUT
Application fee
There is an application fee of AU$55. If your application is successful, we'll credit the $55 towards your first semester's tuition fees.
Pay the application fee through QUTPay. You will need to sign in as a guest.
Submit your application
Applications are open all year. Submit your application to International Admissions.
Applying through a QUT representative (agent)
You may wish to appoint an agent to assist with your application.
If you've completed Year 12 in Australia, you must also complete and submit an Agent Appointment form (PDF file, 197.89 KB).
What happens next?
We'll take at least 10 working days to process your application. Once we've evaluated your application, we'll notify you of the outcome.
If you don't meet the entry requirements for your course, we will ask you to enrol in a pathway course (for example, General English) before you can start the course you applied for. This pathway course will help you improve your English language and academic skills, and will guarantee you entry into your degree program.
International Year 12 students in Australia who apply through QTAC will receive a conditional offer late September/early October. A conditional offer means you must meet the requirements stated in your offer to accept your place.
