Recognised learning
'The transition from Taylor's to QUT was quite smooth, especially with the credit I received. It helped me feel like I wasn't starting from scratch and gave me a sense of continuity in my studies. While the structure at QUT is a bit different, I quickly adjusted thanks to the solid foundation I had from Taylor's. Being recognised for my prior learning made a big difference, it saved time, reduced my study load, and allowed me to focus on more advanced units that built on what I’d already learned.'

Enhance your skills abroad
'After completing my first year of the Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media at Taylor's University in Malaysia, I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Design abroad. The idea of selecting QUT as my destination surfaced when I was exploring pathway options from Taylor's University to a degree abroad. Throughout my studies at QUT, I had the chance to enhance the design skills I learned in Malaysia and enrich my creativity by exploring various media forms, such as fabrication, 3D printing, and more.'

Study abroad in Australia
'I chose to study at QUT in Brisbane, Australia because my home university in Malaysia, Taylor's University, has a partnership program with it. Additionally, I saw this as a great opportunity to explore more of Australia. I really appreciate the facilities at QUT, especially the many public spaces available for students to study and work on assignments.'
