How to apply

You do not need to complete a scholarship application for the Women in Science, Mathematics and IT scholarship. All eligible students who complete a QTAC application in line with QTAC key dates will be considered based on academic performance and gender.

What happens next?

There will be two rounds of offers. We'll make:

  • first round offers in January 2023 to applicants who have put QUT as their first course preference
  • second round offers after the acceptance cut-off date for round one.

A scholarship offer does not mean that you're automatically accepted into the course you've applied for. You still have to apply and be accepted through QTAC.

Conditions

You must:

  • be enrolled full time in an eligible course for the duration of your studies
  • achieve a minimum course grade point average (GPA) of 5 each semester.

You can't:

  • defer your scholarship offer
  • hold any other scholarship except an Equity Scholarship. If you have any questions about holding other scholarships, contact us at scholarships@qut.edu.au.
