Additional entry refers to courses that require you to complete an interview, audition, or portfolio in order to apply for the course.

In 2020 all additional entry requirements including interviews and auditions will be conducted on-line.

The application process and dates for these courses may also differ, so make sure you read all the application information that is relevant for you.  You will need to apply to both QTAC and QUT  before 28 September to be eligible.

If you're an outstanding applicant for additional entry, you’ll automatically be considered for our scholarships that recognise excellence in creative pursuits.

You don’t need to apply for these scholarships - we'll assess your eligibility when you apply for your course.

Acting

Apply to QTAC and then QUT before 28 September with your supporting documents. You’ll then need to create three YouTube videos. Two of these are audition pieces and one a personal statement that tells more about yourself. If shortlisted, you’ll be contacted to progress to a recall audition.  These will be conducted via Zoom in early October.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting)

Dance

Apply to QTAC and then QUT before 28 September with your supporting documents. You’ll then need to create three YouTube videos. Two of these are audition pieces and one a personal statement that tells more about yourself.  Successful candidates from this process will be offered a place in the 2021 dance program.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance)

Fashion

Apply to QTAC and then QUT before 28 September with your supporting documents.  You’ll then need to create and upload a portfolio that best demonstrates your current fashion achievements, working processes, commitment and potential. The selection panel is looking for evidence of your creativity and imagination, visual and professional communication, and fashion awareness.

Music

Apply to QTAC and then QUT before 28 September with your supporting documents. You’ll then need to create three YouTube videos. Apply to QTAC and then QUT before 28 September with your supporting documents.  You’ll then need to create and upload a portfolio that best demonstrates your current achievements, working processes, commitment and potential.   As part of your application you’ll also select a time for a group interview on Zoom in early October.  Successful candidates based on their portfolio and interview will be offered a place in the 2021 Visual Arts program.
