Overview

AI has been impacting businesses and professionals in unprecedented ways. This project will investigate how AI is impacting construction planning, management and execution of construction projects both in positive and negative ways and how Australian construction firms and professionals can better prepare themselves to ride with it.

Research activities

You will  do a  desk top study on the topic  by reviewing  extant literature an anlysse and synthesise information,  prepare a  report  of  5,000 words with the guidance provided by the supervisor

Outcomes

This project aims to:

  • complete a narrative review of literature on the impact of AI in construction
  • examine how other nation are responding or plan to respond to maximise the opportunities of AI in construction
  • explore the implications of AI to the construction industry in Australia.

Skills and experience

You should have received the first class or upper second class honours degree or equivalent, or a masters degree with a GPA greater than 6 and with at least a 25% research component.
