Want to know what it's like to study chemistry at QUT? Hear from two QUT Bachelor of Science students who decided to major in chemistry.

For Jack, it was a no-brainer to study chemistry at university because it was the subject he loved the most in high school. Jessica, however, took full advantage of the foundational science units in the first year and the ability to explore all science majors before choosing her specialisation in the second year. Watch the videos below to hear their stories.

When you study chemistry at QUT, you have the exciting opportunity to learn from experts and take advantage of the facilities and equipment they use in their work. Taught by academics like Prof Tim Dargaville and A/Prof Sarina Sarina, chemistry students explore fascinating topics like organometallic compounds, supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology for energy harvesting, and organic synthesis of compounds to improve human health.
