Will AI replace front-end developer jobs?
AI might be shaking things up, but it’s not replacing front-end developers anytime soon. Here's why: Humans don’t just use technology; they experience it. Front-end developers are the architects of that experience, blending design with code to create intuitive, beautiful and functional digital spaces.
While AI can assist, it can’t replicate human creativity, empathy, or an understanding of how people interact with the web. If you're considering a Bachelor of IT, know that the tech industry needs developers who can build, refine, and humanise the digital world.
Why study IT at QUT?
Our Bachelor of Information Technology has been co-designed with industry and prepares you for the high-impact roles shaping the future: from AI and cybersecurity to software development, business analysis, automation and beyond. This degree is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS), ensuring you meet national standards for professional IT practice.
