The role of powerful individuals in determining China's destiny, and an understanding of how the country's fortunes changed over time are additional features of the content. To enhance understanding, and for comparative purposes, the unit also examines significant events in the history of nearby Asian countries. Through appreciating the circumstances and personalities that have shaped China and its neighbours, you will be able to more readily and articulately analyse and interpret major events taking place in China and its region today.","title-full":"EUB353 China and its Region","title-short":"China and its Region","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=EUB353&year=2022","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=EUB353","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=EUB353"},"year":2022,"years":[2022]}
