The generalised concepts of capacitance and inductance as well as the interaction of fields with materials are developed. It also covers electromagnetic induction, wave propagation, transmission line theory and the basics of the DC machines as well as 3 phase power. It links to work previously developed in EGB120 Foundations in Electrical Engineering, and prepares students for more advanced studies in RF and Power Engineering.","title-full":"EGB241 Electromagnetics and Machines","title-short":"Electromagnetics and Machines","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=EGB241&year=2022","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=EGB241","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=EGB241"},"year":2022,"years":[2022]}
