Scholarship details
What you'll receive
You’ll receive a scholarship valued up to $45,000.
The scholarship will be paid as a stipend in six instalments of $7,500 per semester for up to three years, following confirmation of your enrolment after the census date of each semester, commencing Semester 1, 2025.
Eligibility
To be eligible for The CGC Scholarship for Gender Equity in STEM, you must meet the following criteria:
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- identify as female
- be enrolled part-time or full-time
- entering your first year and enrolled in an Engineering, Science or Health degree (including double degrees)
- be able to demonstrate financial hardship
- from the Logan Local Government Area.
How to apply
You need to complete and submit the online application form by Tuesday, 1 April 2025.
Your application should include the following attachments:
- your resume
- a written response to the application questions
- a statement of financial hardship
- proof of residence in the Logan Local Government Area
What happens next?
CGC will be involved in the selection process with opportunities given for work experience or internship to the successful candidate. Shortlisted recipients will be contacted by CGC.
