About the scholarship
The Shamrock Civil Engineering Scholarship reflects Shamrock Civil’s deep commitment to reconciliation and its long-standing partnership with the Faculty of Engineering at QUT. Closely aligned with QUT’s Cultural Immersion Engineering Program, this scholarship supports meaningful engagement with Indigenous Australian students by integrating engineering education with cultural knowledge and connection to Country.
Through its joint venture with Waanyi Aboriginal Corporation, known as WSU Civil, Shamrock Civil has demonstrated a strong focus on creating employment and training pathways for Indigenous Australians in the National, State and regional construction industry. This scholarship builds on that foundation by empowering Indigenous students to bring their unique perspectives and values into the engineering profession.
