NASA's newest Mars rover, Perseverance, has just arrived on the red planet. Tasked with searching for ancient life in the geological record of a ~4 billion-year-old crater lake, the mission science team must use our only available analogue - the Earth - as their guide to exploration.

We know from the Australian Digital Inclusion Index that Indigenous Australians in remote communities are among the least digitally included in Australia. Space robotics: Scene understanding for Lunar/Mars Rover

The QUT Centre for Robotics is working with the Australian Space Agency on the newly established Australian space program, in which robots will play a key role.
