More than 10,000 new students have converged on QUT's two campuses for a week of fun activities to help them settle into university life.

Monday’s official welcome party revealed the winning 2018 design for the free t-shirt for first-year students, Steps, created by Creative Industries design student Joeli Radogo-Kabu.

In her first official engagement as QUT’s new Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Margaret Sheil addressed the students, congratulating Joeli as well as the 2018 scholarship winners.

 

 

O Week activities spilled onto the Kelvin Grove campus on Tuesday, as students toured their facilities and learning spaces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


O Week activities continue all week, including live music, a Come and Try (a new Sport) Day at the QUT Sportsfield in Kelvin Grove and multiple sessions on vital uni services like library tours, career development, study skills, writing and spoken presentation skills.
