The Learning Experience Survey (LEX) will officially be open from 9:00 am on Monday 3 October 2011 to 5:00 pm on Monday 31 October 2011. This online survey is an opportunity for QUT Students to provide constructive and confidential feedback on both their units and teachers this semester.
QUT values student feedback and uses it to help make improvements.
Student feedback, through LEX, starts a conversation with between students and teachers. It is an important way to help teachers to improve different aspects of units, such as tutorials, assessment and teaching materials. It's also an opportunity for students to provide lecturers and tutors with constructive feedback and to let great teachers know that they're making an impact.
By completing the LEX survey this semester, QUT Students will also be helping their faculty achieve points to buy QUT sponsored Oxfam gifts to support local and global communities in need. In addition a number of LEX booths will be run on campus - look out for faculty notifications of times and locations - students who complete their LEX survey at one of these booths can choose to make a QUT sponsored donation to one of four charities: Cancer Council 'Think Pink'; Oxfam 'Close the Gap'; Oxfam 'Make Poverty History; and BeyondBlue.
Also, QUT students who complete all of their semester 2 unit surveys will automatically go into the draw to win one of 15 $200 JB Hi-Fi gift vouchers.
