Biography
Dr Morgan Farley is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and specialist in cancer care. She is an award-winning early career researcher and attracted >$1 million dollars in competitive grant funding as a CI. She has dedicated her clinical, teaching, and research career to improving treatment outcomes for people with cancer through supportive care interventions and provides a unique lens crossing both clinical practice and research. Morgan completed her PhD in 2023 which explored the influence of high intensity interval training on immune function and fitness and body composition in cancer survivors. Since Morgan has built a research program that uses supportive care strategies (e.g., exercise, diet, symptom assessment) to improve treatment responses and outcomes. Morgan has presented her research at both a national and international stage and is frequently invited as a keynote speaker.Morgan has experience across several research methodologies including randomised control trials, implementation research, co-design, cohort studies, and feasibility trials.
As an experienced educator I have contributed to the development and accreditation of a master's in clinical Exercise Physiology and have significant experience as a course coordinator across a variety of subjects including exercise prescription, exercise prescription for ageing, metabolic, and cancer populations.
