Biography
Dr Char-lee McLennan (also published as Char-lee Moyle) is an Associate Professor in the School of Management and the co-lead of the Social Systems Domain in the Centre for Data Science at QUT.Char-lee has a PhD in Tourism Economics from the University of Queensland, for which she won multiple awards including the Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award, the 2012 UQ Dean’s Award for Research Higher Degree Excellence and the 2012 Best Paper Award from the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research. Char-lee's research is focused in three main streams of research, specifically: 1) regional economic development and transformation; 2) strategic policy and planning; and 3) the adoption of sustainability.
