The School of Information Systems provides a holistic view of digital systems – combining technical skills and systems thinking to harness cutting-edge technologies to drive business automation, intelligence and innovation. Information systems are critical to digital domains such as fintech, digital health, digital energy, supply chain automation and smart manufacturing.
We focus on the state-of-the-art knowledge vital to the analysis, design, development, operations, predictions and evolution of digital systems. We specialise in technologies that are highly relevant for business such as enterprise systems, the industrial internet of things, Artificial Intelligence, business intelligence, and blockchain.
We provide skills in modelling, programming, data analytics, machine learning, decision making, and IT adoption and management. We work across all levels of systems, including business models to shape new designs, business processes to coordinate activities, and software applications and distributed platforms to automate.
