The practical HIM-related project will be negotiated with the placement supervisor. Increased understanding of the various roles that health information managers play in the health care system is emphasised through the work integrated learning experiences gained. This is the capstone unit for the Health Information Management degree and a time for you to apply your HIM knowledge gained in the classroom in a practical setting. The unit will provide you with the opportunity to reflect upon your learning goals, reevaluate the outcomes of your earlier academic experiences and further develop understanding of your role as a professional health information management practitioner. The outcome of this placement unit provides you with a sound platform from which to move from the university setting to the workplace.","title-full":"PUB373 Integrated Health Information Management Practice","title-short":"Integrated Health Information Management Practice","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=PUB373&year=2024","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=PUB373","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=PUB373"},"year":2024,"years":[2024]}
