It will discuss historic and contemporary applications, including uses by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Topics covered in this unit are the mechanical and physical properties of materials, extraction and creation processes, tectonic systems and logics, technological advances, environmental impact and circularity. Through practical sessions, observation, analysis, and reflection, you will gain an understanding of key materials and material systems, how to design with and for them and their environmental impact.","title-full":"ABB105 Spatial Materiality","title-short":"Spatial Materiality","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=ABB105&year=2024","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=ABB105","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=ABB105"},"year":2024,"years":[2024]}
