Ni sa bula, Halo wantoks, Malo e lelei, Kia ora, Kia orana, Talofa lava, Fakalofa lahi atu – welcome to QUT!
Should you choose to join us, we have a range of support services to help you find your feet and thrive while you’re at uni.
A warm welcome and ongoing support
If you choose to enrol, we invite you to attend our Maori and Pasifika Orientation. You, your family and friends are invited to join our Pasifika Outreach and Retention Officer to learn more about QUT, and how to set yourself up for success while you’re here.
Pasifika students Takura and Tommy talk about their studies, how they’ve made the most of the support available, and opportunities to connect as part of the QUT community.

Connect with your peers through the QUT Pasifika Association (QUTPA)
Representing more than 25 nations of the Pacific, QUTPA unifies students from Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia under a banner of ‘ONENESIA’.
We provide a friendly environment for all Pasifika students to get support, network and find their QUT family.
We encourage a strong balance between all aspects of university life - academic, social and cultural - and act as a voice to raise awareness of issues impacting the Pacific Islands.
