What you'll receive

You’ll receive a scholarship valued at $15,000.

The scholarship will be paid as a stipend in three instalments of $5,000 per year for up to three years, following confirmation of your enrolment after the census date of each year, commencing Semester 1, 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, participants must:

  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa with a permanent home address in Australia
  • be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at QUT
  • identify as female.

You must be entering the equivalent of your second year and have completed 96 credit points in Semester, 2026:

  • EN01 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil)

Double degree

Students enrolled in one of the below engineering double award courses are eligible, provided they are entering the equivalent of their second, third, fourth, or final year of study and have completed a minimum of 192 credit points:

  • (IX59) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) /Bachelor of Business
  • (SE40) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) /Bachelor of Mathematics
  • (SE60) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) /Bachelor of Information Technology
  • (SE80) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) /Bachelor of Science
  • (EV09) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) /Master of Project Management
  • (EV11) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) /Master of Sustainable Infrastructure.

By the closing date, 11:59pm Friday 3rd July 2026, you need to complete and submit the online application form including the following attachments:

  • curriculum vitae (CV)/resume
  • academic transcript
  • written response to the selection criteria.

What happens next?

The Transoft Interactive team will review the written applications. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the team, who will then advise QUT of the successful candidate.
